Our website is in making!

After operating on Instagram for over a year on Instagram - having built a very loving engaging community - we are expanding 😄

As a genZ team - we began with what we had in terms of resources and what was most accessible to us, and the people we wanted to work with and for, hence Instagram. Over time, as we started creating more Multi generational dialogue spaces, we realised how we were excluding a significant population by only operating out of a social media application. This also translated to a lot of potential funders and partners being unable to see our work.

We could see Instagram's own political agenda - every time we would write about gender minorities, violence, genocide - Instagram would limit our content's reach to our own set of followers.

Real talk though - resource crunch was brutal - with the limited funds we had - our choices were - should we buy more stationery and music instruments or can we use the money to hire a technical team to help build a website for us.

Which is when we heard of Aikyam! This non profit helps in tech capacity building of other grassroots non profits - teaching teams very effective no code tools to build cool stuff

We are so excited to show (and see :p) what we build!
